Archibald Leitch: The man who invented the football stadium. You’ve heard of him. He designed the Bullens Road, The Gwladys Street stand and the old Main Stand both of which featured his hallmark criss-cross steel feature which which at one time could be seen at ten stadiums up and down the land.
This faithfully re-drawn design is from one of his original technical drawings from Goodison’s Bullens Road stand.
